The MAX® II family of instant-on, non-volatile CPLDs is based on a 0.18-?m, 6-layermetal-flash process, with densities from 240 to 2,210 logic elements (LEs) (128 to 2,210 equivalent macrocells) and non-volatile storage of 8 Kbits. MAX II devices offer high I/O counts, fast performance, and reliable fitting versus other CPLD architectures.

Featuring MultiVolt core, a user flash memory (UFM) block, and enhanced in-system programmability (ISP), MAX II devices are designed to reduce cost and power while providing programmable solutions for applications such as bus bridging, I/O expansion, power-on reset (POR) and sequencing control, and device configuration control.

DS18B20 Programmable Resolution 1-Wire Digital Thermometer

The DS18B20 digital thermometer provides 9-bit to 12-bit Celsius temperature measurements and has an
alarm function with nonvolatile user-programmable upper and lower trigger points. The DS18B20
communicates over a 1-Wire bus that by definition requires only one data line (and ground) for
communication with a central microprocessor. It has an operating temperature range of -55°C to +125°C
and is accurate to ±0.5°C over the range of -10°C to +85°C. In addition, the DS18B20 can derive power
directly from the data line (“parasite power”), eliminating the need for an external power supply.
Each DS18B20 has a unique 64-bit serial code, which allows multiple DS18B20s to function on the same 1-Wire bus. Thus, it is simple to use one microprocessor to control many DS18B20s distributed over a large area. Applications that can benefit from this feature include HVAC environmental controls, temperature monitoring systems inside buildings, equipment, or machinery, and process monitoring and control systems.

+5V Powered RS-232 Transmitters/Receivers with 0.1Microfarad External Capacitors The HIN202-HIN213 family of RS-232 transmitters/receivers interface circuits meet all ElA RS-232E and V.28 specifications, and are particularly suited for those applications where ±12V is not available. They require a single +5V power supply and feature onboard charge pump voltage converters which generate +10V and -10V supplies from the 5V supply The family of devices offers a wide variety of RS-232 transmitter/receiver combinations to
accommodate various applications (see Selection Table).

The HIN206, HIN211 and HIN213 feature a low power shutdown mode to conserve energy in battery powered
applications. In addition, the HIN213 provides two active receivers in shutdown mode allowing for easy “wakeup” capability.

The drivers feature true TTL/CMOS input compatibility, slew rate-limited output, and 300? power-off source impedance. The receivers can handle up to ±30V input, and have a 3k? to 7k? input impedance. The receivers also feature hysteresis to greatly improve noise rejection.

1.0 General Description
The National Semiconductor LMX9838 Bluetooth Serial Port module is a fully integrated Bluetooth 2.0 baseband controller, 2.4 GHz radio, crystal, antenna, LDO and discreets; combined to form a complete small form factor (10 mm x 17 mm x 2.0 mm) Bluetooth node.

All hardware and firmware is included to provide a complete solution from antenna through the complete lower and upper layers of the Bluetooth stack, up to the application including the Generic Access Profile (GAP), the Service Discovery Application Profile (SDAP), and the Serial Port Profile (SPP).

The module includes a configurable service database to fulfil service requests for additional profiles on the host. Moreover, the LMX9838 is qualified as a Bluetooth endproduct, ready to be used in the end application without additional testing and license cost.

Based on National’s CompactRISC® 16-bit processor architecture and Digital Smart Radio technology, the LMX9838 is optimized to handle the data and link management processing requirements of a Bluetooth node.
The firmware supplied in the on-chip ROM memory offers a complete Bluetooth (v2.0) stack including profiles and command interface. This firmware features point-to-point and point-to-multipoint link management supporting data rates up to the theoretical maximum over RFComm of 704 kbps. The internal memory supports up to 7 active Bluetooth data links and one active SCO link.

The on-chip Patch RAM provided for lowest cost and risk, allows the flexibility of firmware upgrade.
The module is lead free and RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) compliant.

LM1117 / LM1117I 800mA Low-Dropout Linear Regulator
General Description

The LM1117 is a series of low dropout voltage regulators with a dropout of 1.2V at 800mA of load current. It has the same pin-out as National Semiconductor’s industry standard LM317.

The LM1117 is available in an adjustable version, which can set the output voltage from 1.25V to 13.8V with only two external resistors. In addition, it is also available in five fixed voltages, 1.8V, 2.5V, 2.85V, 3.3V, and 5V.

The LM1117 offers current limiting and thermal shutdown. Its circuit includes a zener trimmed bandgap reference to assure output voltage accuracy to within ±1%.

The LM1117 series is available in LLP, TO-263, SOT-223, TO-220, and TO-252 D-PAK packages. A minimum of 10?F tantalum capacitor is required at the output to improve the transient response and stability.

A short ultrasonic pulse is transmitted at the time 0, reflected by an object. The senor receives this signal and converts it to an electric signal. The next pulse can be transmitted when the echo is faded away. This time period is called cycle period. The recommend cycle period should be no less than 50ms. If a 10?s width trigger pulse is sent to the signal pin, the Ultrasonic module will output eight 40kHz ultrasonic signal and detect the echo back. The measured distance is proportional to the echo pulse width and can be calculated by the formula above. If no obstacle is detected, the output pin will give a 38ms high level signal.

The AT45DB041D is a 2.5V or 2.7V, serial-interface Flash memory ideally suited for a wide variety of digital voice-, image-, program code- and data-storage applications.

The AT45DB041D supports RapidS serial interface for applications requiring very high speed operations. RapidS serial interface is SPI compatible for frequencies up to 66 MHz. Its 4,325,376 bits of memory are organized as 2,048 pages of 256 bytes or 264 bytes each. In addition to the main memory, the AT45DB041D also contains two SRAM buffers of 256/264 bytes each. The buffers allow the receiving of data while a
page in the main Memory is being reprogrammed, as well as writing a continuous data stream. EEPROM emulation (bit or byte alterability) is easily handled with a self-contained three step read-modify-write operation. Unlike conventional Flash memories that are accessed randomly with multiple address lines and a parallel interface, the DataFlash uses a RapidS serial interface to sequentially access its data. The simple
sequential access dramatically reduces active pin count, facilitates hardware layout,increases system reliability, minimizes switching noise, and reduces package size. The device is optimized for use in many commercial and industrial applications where high-density, low-pin count, low-voltage and low-power are essential.

To allow for simple in-system reprogrammability, the AT45DB041D does not require high input voltages for programming. The device operates from a single power supply, 2.5V to 3.6V or 2.7V to 3.6V, for both the program and read operations. The AT45DB041D is enabled through the chip select pin (CS) and accessed via a three-wire interface consisting of the Serial Input (SI),Serial Output (SO), and the Serial Clock (SCK).

All programming and erase cycles are self-timed.
